The in thing for too many blacks in cities who have run ins with police is more than meets the eye.

For instance, “Black Lives Matter” has made the national news on more than one occasion. “Hands up – Don’t shoot!” is the fictional slogan that roared into headlines as well.

But more secretly is the fact that “Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE) has been paying protesters $5,000 a month to demonstrate...

Seems that somebody mistranslated what the Pope said to Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinians.

The AP reported, “Pope Francis praised Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as an “angel of peace” during a meeting Saturday at the Vatican that underscored the Holy See’s warm relations with the Palestinians.

“Francis made the compliment during the traditional exchange of gifts at the end of an official audience...

For years now the federal government has been bequeathing police departments around the nation with lots of military hardware.

I can just see Fort Pierce’s police department needing the armored vehicle above to nab the codgers who park crooked.

Now it seems that President Obama and I agree on something. Restricting the millions of dollars in hardware that have been pouring into local cops.

Don’t misunderstand...

Most of us are familiar with the left coast. Land of fruits and nuts, etc.

California for instance: They are bankrupt, but every state legislator voted to continue allowing themselves a limo and a driver.

And then there is the drought that is seeing thousands of acres of farmland in unplanted, drought condition while San Francisco pumps a half million gallons of water into the ocean. All in the name of protecting...

Cops are being assassinated.

First it was policemen in New York. Then one after another more policemen were killed. The latest two in Mississippi.

And what’s bringing it on?

We believe that part of the problem comes out of the Obama Administration. With the President “dissing” policemen almost from the beginning of his term to former Attorney General Eric Holder’s anti-police rhetoric, the black community...

This cartoon has the wrong titles on their shirts, but it is relevant to what is going on in Syria as plots and counterplots among the leaders of Assad’s army and political wing is deciding by default who lives and who dies.

Reports are out that General Ali Mamlouk has been placed in house arrest. He was alive at last report but that could be just a matter of time.

Mamlouk was accused of poisoning another leader with...

There are voices on both Israel’s left and right that are talking about the Saudi and Israeli common goals. What they say is a long way apart. (King Salmon in photo)

The left-leaning, but very bright nonetheless, INSS in Israel has sent out a report that you might well find interesting. We offer it with our own comments in brackets:

Between Operation Decisive Storm and an Iranian Nuclear Deal: The Limits of Saudi-Israeli...

It weighs 15 tons, costs $330 million for 20 of them, and they are dropped in pairs.

They are the bunker busters that could wipe out Iran’s facilities. The only problem is that Israel doesn’t have any of them.

“The successful test showed a massive bomb that could be guided much like smaller precision weapons and was upgraded with electronic countermeasures that protect it from potential Iranian jamming, which could...

What’s in the newest Trade Agreement? Like NAFTA, that did not help American workers, we are guessing that this further trashes jobs at home.

But no one seems to know. That’s because the White House has it inside a black room where no news can get out.

Read the report from and then we’ll continue:

If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration...

Time is running out for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue with a new government in place.

He’s already received a two week extension in which to present his coalition. Now Naftali Bennett the millionaire, right wing leader of his own party is playing reluctant. And the Russians under Avgidor Lieberman have pulled out and said they will not be in the coalition.

Lieberman was once a team mate. In fact his party ran on the same ticket with...
