They are photogenic, novices in politics and are in the government. Someone once said that keeping a political coalition in place Israel is like herding cats. These two cats have made life miserable to Bibi.

They pushed separate but similar agendas after the election, knew that Bibi needed them, and ended up with two powerful posts in the government.

Not that may be eroding.

As Israel Hayon reported, “Recently, the two men's relationship has hit the rocks -- over traditionally divisive issues like the peace process and gay rights. It seems that...

In the past two days rockets have been fired from Gaza and hit the Eshkol Regional area and the Ashkelon area inside Israel.

In response there has been tough talk from PM Netanyahu and an attack by the IAF.

Since talks began in September of this year, 13 Palestinians have been killed inside Gaza by Israel.

And there is a non-intifada already underway.

What is a non-intifada? It is a non-announced war of stabbings, shootings and stone-throwing attacks by Palestinians (primarily in the West Bank), plus the occasional rocket fire from Gaza.

The small body of water near the top is the Sea of Galilee. Below that in two parts is the Dead Sea. Between the two runs the Jordan RiverValley. This piece of sand and narrow river is the subject of deep feelings between not just the Palestinians and Israelis but also between the left and right of the political spectrum.

Likud has enough conservative votes to pass a bill before the Knesset to annex the entire area. That would limit Prime Minister Netanyahu’s freedom to offer it to the Palestinian Authority during peace talks.

Even...

We thought you might like to know what our Christmas days are like in Israel.

Normal.

That’s it in a nutshell.

Our wonderful landlord came down a few days before Christmas last year with a new doorbell for our apartment.

It plays Jingle Bells when the button is pressed!

He and his family are wonderful people, and we have all become very close friends. They are Israelis, Jewish, and have been in the land for six generations. They do not share our beliefs, and indeed are not religious, even regarding the Jewish religion,...

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS.

We wish you a very wonderful Christmas celebration.

This celebration day of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is dear to us and with this greeting we offer our best wishes to you and yours.

If you are one of our readers or listeners who is not a believer in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, then of course, we know you aren’t a celebrant, but we offer our best wished to you, nonetheless.

Living and working in the Holy Land is a blessing to us, and we strive to bring...

On a visit to the Bethlehem Mayor’s office located on Manger Square, we were greeted by this shocking sight. There he was, the greatest terrorist to predate Osama bin Laden, Yasser Arafat.

It was he who set in motion the terrorists’ takeover of the Church of the Nativity, resulting in priests being taken prisoner, firearms fired from within the church and the defecation by many of his henchmen inside the church.

And it was he who began the phrase, “Jesus was a Palestinian.” It was he whose followers forced an empty chair to be placed in the front row of the Church of the Nativity Christmas Eve service for Arafat...

This photo of Muslims praying atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is only part of the story.

The fact is that Christians and Jews are not permitted to pray there, or even to carry a Bible onto the area.

Israel Today recently ran a piece that shed much light on the fact that Muslims blame not Israel but their own leaders for the sad state of disrepair of the area. We are sharing it as it, and without comment:

Muslim Finds Islam, Not Israel, Ruining Temple Mount

Writing for the Gatestone Institute, Palestinian academic Mudar Zahran discovers that it is local Islamic authorities,...

This shot of Syrian rubble is demonstrative of the situation where no one is really nearing victory.

Recently INSS released the following report. It is estimated that nearly 11,000 non-Syrian fighters are battling Assad’s Syrian military forces today.

But at the same time, there is some doubt that the President can keep his nation together. Read the recent report from people who keep abreast of events:

The Changing of the Tide in the Syrian Civil War

INSS Insight No. 499

The tide is changing in the...

While the favorable rating of Obama has matched the much-maligned former President George W. Bush, there are even Democrats who could say yes to the question about missing Bush.

At the same time the President seems to have come out of hiding, with even a guest appearance on Jay Leno’s show. There he presented Leno with a painting he did of the late night host. It was pretty good, actually, though Rembrandt is in no danger of being upstaged.

With Obama’s bungling and lying dropping him into disasters, one after another (did...

As we reported on our Tuesday radio broadcast, Jordan’s King Abdullah has told the absentee leader of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal that he wants no part of his terrorist group’s locating their offices in Jordan.

Mashaal was once the target of a botched Mossad attempt to poison him. In fact, he was poisoned, then the agents were discovered and Jordan threatened Israel to the degree that an Israeli emissary showed up in Amman with the antidote. But that’s old news.

Mashaal was once located in Damascus but when the threat that he could expire before his...
