As you know if you follow us, we have a definite in the intelligence community, both in Israel and other nations.

Meir Dagan has been – in our opinion one of the most interesting in quite some time. Now out of the game, he gave a good interview on 60 Minutes recently.

There were some aspects that we’d like to weigh in on, so as we often do, we will put our comments in brackets for you:

The Spymaster: Meir Dagan on Iran's threat

In a rare interview, ex-chief of Mossad Meir...

Israel today reported that the Russians have send commandoes to Syria.

Apparently it was ABC that first broke the news, but Tariqu Homayed, who edits the London Arabic daily, A-Sharq Al-Awsat is riled up.

From Israel Today: “It later turned out that only a single unit of Russian counter-terrorism commandoes was in Syria, but the deployment remains symbolically significant, especially to Arab observers.

"This...

In a recent discussion about American spending policies with another US citizen in Israel they mentioned the amount of money going into Gaza and the West Bank to Arab private citizens.

Frankly I hadn’t thought a lot about that side of spending, and was shocked when the person talked about USAID.

I knew about USAID from years ago when I was in Viet Nam. At that time there were some of them involved in about the same...

The rumors are that it was Israeli intelligence that carried out the attacks on Iranian scientists and generals inside Iran. No proof has ever been offered, and according to long standing protocols, Israel neither admits or denies any such suggestions.

Now, with the botched bombings directed at Israeli diplomats in the Far East and the successful murder of three French Jews in France last week, one must wonder if the Mossad...

If you think I’m a news junky, you should meet my mother! (grin)

At eighty-five years old, she has pretty much lost her sight, but that doesn’t mean that she’s out of touch. Fox News channel is on (if she’s not tuned in to RFD’s cable channel for a quick break).

For that reason she’s nervous about our living in Israel. What if those crazy Iranians nuke Israel?

I have to regularly assure her that God has everything...

The Palestinian Authority seems to stay angry at Israel, but they will take the Shekel without complaint.

Ramallah said this week that they have concluded “secret” talks with Israel, aimed at smoothing the process by which Israel transfers the millions of shekels in taxes they collect and agreed under the Paris Protocol (Oslo agreement) to pay to the PA.

“In accordance with the agreement, Israel collects import taxes...

Our friends at the Government Press Office are moving to new digs this week. While we don’t envy them the move itself, the nicer facilities will be a great blessing.

They are relocating to the Jerusalem Technology Park‎, also known as the Malha Technology Park. It is a high-tech industrial park located in the Malha neighborhood of southwest Jerusalem, Israel,...

The Palestinian Prime Minister, Salem Fayyad, said today that extremists must stop using the Palestinian cause to justify their terrorist attacks.

"It is time for these criminals to stop marketing their terrorist acts in the name of Palestine and to stop pretending to stand up for the rights of Palestinian children who only ask for a decent life."

Interestingly, it is Fayyad who has been the target of extremists himself....

An Ahmadinejad advisor is overlooking Israel from Lebanon. One has to wonder if he is trying to pick out a home site. Surely it would be safer in Israel than Iran.

What makes me say such a thing?

The fact is that Iran’s politicians have recently been reported to say such mean things. Couple that with the news that even some of Israel’s security insiders say that it is three years at least before the Persians can build...
