In a recent editorial Yediot Aharonot, not famous for its conservative views, stated that Israel is facing four real threats.

Let’s look at each in order:

“(1) The Bomb. Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak are correct when they claim that the State of Israel cannot allow itself to live in the shadow of the threat of an Iranian nuclear bomb. Meir Dagan, Gaby Ashkenazi, Yuval Diskin and others are also correct that...

I’m reminded of the old story about the guy who was mouthing off about something and the person he was insulting overheard him.

The man grabbed the loud mouth and really whaled him.

He then grabbed the front of the fellow’s shirt, and, getting down in his face asked, “You want to say anything else?” whereupon the beat up loudmouth said, “Yeah, no body never ‘splained it to like that before.”

That’s like Iran...

In the US when there is a shooting the lefties want to outlaw guns.

In Iran there have been two killings in as many weeks. The most recent was when two assailants on motorcycles killed an Iranian military officer.

Apparently the two motorcyclists rode up and opened fire as a group of military officers were entering an Iranian air force base wounding one and killing one.

The previous death was of a nuclear...

In home games this term would be used in a game with wild cards, "for the next hand the king with the axe is wild." And wild he was at the Qalandiya checkpoint recently.

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal is reporting that he will no longer lead the terrorist group.

Why not?

Israel’s daily Ma’ariv reports that it isn’t even clear if he means it.

"It is not clear how final Mashaal's decision is," and adds that, "The reasons for his planned departure are not clear."

Most likely it is because he is facing opposition from Gaza’s Hamas leaders. And why wouldn’t they oppose him?”

Most of us are familiar by now what the President thinks of us, and our hanging on to God, Guns and Guts.

But have you ever questioned why many people carry a personal firearm in the United States (and Israel, too, for that matter). My dear sister has submitted one answer, and we share it here:

Why Grandpa carries a gun Why Carry a Gun?  I don't carry a gun to kill people. I carry a gun to keep from being killed. I  don't carry a gun to scare people. I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place....

In our fourth novel, The Al Agha Conspiracy we wrote about the fact that perhaps the most influential rabbi of the past century had stated he had a vision where he was given the name of the Messiah.

This week my Editor in Chief and wife discovered a video on this very man. We believe that it is well worth your time.

Many Bible-believing Christians today hesitate to accept that anyone could have a vision from God.

I will tell you that I personally have an acquaintance who was a rabbi here in Jerusalem and...

A few days ago Elliott Abrams did a good piece on the comparison between Israel-US cancellation of joint military exercises and the Saudi’s verbal commitment to make up the difference is Iran won’t sell oil.

I believe Abrams is right – as usual, but there is one more card in the deck. The Saudi’s are not the fat benevolent guys in robes. They said later that they plan to keep oil prices at or above $100 a barrel. That was...

You’ve read about them in Saudi Arabia. Radical Islamists who are busy, not setting bombs or plotting attacks in Baghdad, or worrying about the Shiites of Iran. No, these guys are marching the highways and byways of their nation looking for some woman who is not dressed to suit their idea of what is moral and what is not.

The “Morality Squads” have also done their evil work in Gaza. No sooner had Hamas kicked Fatah out of...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has had enough with the Jerusalem Mufti Hussein!

On the 20th we ran an article about the Mufti, chief religious leader in Israel, West Bank, etc. and his comments about killing the Jews.

Now Netanyahu has ordered the Attorney General, Yehuda Weinstein to investigate whether the Mufti is guilty of incitement, or at least if there is enough evidence to indict him for it.
