On Monday there was a near riot in the Palestinian Authority “capital” of Ramallah. Who was behind it? Some infer it was Abbas himself, or one of his friends in the government.

Who me? Mahmoud Abbas

Haaretz.com ran a piece on the subject, but it is not as enlightening as we might wish. Part of that reason is that people who talk too much, especially to Jews and/or outsiders don’t survive long in the Arab society.

What is likely is that Abbas has the Arafat Syndrome. He wants the Western dollars to keep pouring in, so he has to talk about peace, but...

Eight years ago the idea of a fast train between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem began to take form. It’s still not a reality, though the tracks are laid and an inaugural train ride was taken by the politicians and others.

AG Eric Holder seems more intent on throwing Americans under the bus in so many ways, not the least of which is election law and polling place thugs. Here’s the latest, from the Heritage Foundation:

The latest Rasmussen poll on voter ID is sure to frustrate liberal advocacy organizations like the NAACP and the League of Women Voters that oppose commonsense proposals to ensure the integrity of our election process. They have been waging a...

I applaud TV host Glenn Beck. He pulled off a great event, balanced and ethical; totally conservative, and motivational. With no arrests.

Glenn Beck did what he said!

He brought a crowd together numbering in the 100s of thousands. (Serious estimates are between 500,000-600,000 people.) A crowd that was totally peaceful, honorable and conservative.

I listened to Geraldo Rivera with his innuendo and smarmy remarks on Beck’s rally and almost slobbering on Al Sharpton’s shoes as he stroked the rabble-rouser’s march which took place the same day.

Personally I have an opinion that Sharpton and Jessie Jackson...

That kind of talk is mostly hyperbole, though a lot of us wonder about it. But here’s a thought… After Obama, if he resigns, is Joe and then Nancy Pelosi. That’s a horrifying thought.

clip_image002

“Q: Will Barack Obama be a one-term president? “A: Yes, he might last that long.”

That’s the way Roger Simon of “Politico” opened his recent column. It was sure not a resounding confidence builder for Obama.

Politico, I remind you is not famous for its conservative viewpoint.

The talk all around the country among “regular folks” is that Obama ought to resign. Then I remind them that we would...

It is a tough neighborhood.

Torched car in Silwan

The area is built atop a cemetery, is mainly illegal Arab housing, built without any permits, and regularly the topic of destruction by city officials.

But there is a twist there. The Jews are coming. The Jews are coming. Actually they have arrived. They are buying houses owned by Arabs who get rich by charging exorbitant prices then getting “out of Dodge” before their Arab brothers kill them.

You think I’m kidding? I’m not. In 2007 a man inherited a three story house from his mother....

It’s been a while since I put up some of my “potpourri” pronouncements. In other words, I feel like sounding off on a few subjects.

THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE

Senator Harry Reid says he is not for the mosque being located near Ground Zero. Wait until after the election and he’ll likely change his tune. Especially if he wins. (Pray not.)

I personally agree that freedom of religion should prevail. But that is not realistic. Most Evangelicals already know that. They often run into government intervention on church building activities.

This mosque could well join the other 1200 that Wahabist Saudi...

I spend so much time speaking of Israel, the people, the country and the spirit of that beleaguered land that I fear you may forget that I am an American patriot, a Vietnam veteran, a voter, gun owner, anti-abortionist, Christian, NRA life member, family man and friend of others who are likewise. So too, is Col. Oliver North.

Here is a video where Col. North spoke to the annual NRA convention. Before you dismiss this, watch it. Like North or not, I think what you see about our soldiers will touch your heart.

If you have already seen it, watch anyway. It will do your heart good. :)

GOOD NEWS – WE GOT AVERAGE RAINFALL!

clip_image002

Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) and Golan in background

It no doubt seems a small victory to some, but Israelis are celebrating news from the Water Authority that last winter’s rainfall was average.

After years of below average rains, this is tremendous news. The Sea of Galilee actually rose about five feet.

In spite of the good news, no one expects the sky-high rates for water to decrease.

Here is the article:

Winter rains reach average levels for first time in 5 years

They present themselves as the benchmark authority on which governments are treating the innocent and helpless poorly. In reality they are a leftist, liberal organization that has historically trashed democracies.
