We often receive information from the Heritage Foundation. You might want to read these few, as well as join yourself. These are on different topics.

As Matt Mayer vividly describes in a new Heritage Web Memo, the Obama administration is implementing a de facto amnesty that will allow the vast majority of illegal aliens to remain in the United States without being disturbed by the Department of Homeland...

What are the facts about the Palestinian West Bank and Gaza? TIP provides some insights. We won’t belabor a lot of interpretation. Just read and learn.

West Bank villages (Ernie Moore)
For years now The Israel Project has worked to truthfully inform journalists, government officials and others about conditions in and around Israel. They are diligent and have great integrity. We know some of them, commend them to you, and appreciate their work:
West Bank Economy by the Numbers
During the past three years, terrorism and violence emanating from the West Bank has decreased significantly...

The items above deserve some commentary, so here is what we’ll do: in the text below, we’ll insert comments, then at the end we will close this piece out with some background on the peace talks, etc.

Settler praying at the Western Wall (Ernie Moore)
We took the photo above on one of our regular visits to the Western Wall. We were taking photos of bar mitzvahs that day, then spied this young man. He is from the West Bank areas. How do we know? The so-called settlers regularly arm themselves with M1 carbines.
Article begins:
After attack, Yishai...

You have heard me “rant” about how the Shas Party rules the Ministry of Interior in Israel. How they strike fear in common Israeli citizens when told they must report to that old office on Shlom Zion Hamalka St. in Jerusalem. How they rule on visas and citizenship debates. Now read an article about the most powerful MK in their party.
Shas MK Eli Yishai
J-Post Editor David Horovitz is a jewel of a writer and interviewer. In the following lengthy article you will meet the man who wants everyone kicked out of Israel but “real” Jews.
Am I being too hard on Yishai? You read the piece...

Not long ago we posted some information on the discussion of conservatives needing – or not needing – a written agenda for the fall elections. Here is a follow up on the topic from the Heritage Foundation.

Who is a conservative leader today?
Last Thursday, a who’s who of the progressive movement met for a conference call organized by Families USA and hosted by the advocacy group for government-run health care, The Herndon Alliance. The Alliance’s partners include AARP, AFL-CIO, SEIU, MoveOn and La Raza,...

“We saw a crying volunteer, and at first we did not understand what was happening – he has seen many disasters before,” Zaka volunteer Isaac Bernstein told The Jerusalem Post. “Then he started shouting, ‘That’s my wife! That’s my wife!’ We took him away from the scene immediately,” Bernstein added.

You may have seen this some time before, but we though it was worth a review. Say what you will, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind and heart that President Bush’s heart was with the troops who defend our nation – and lots of other nations – including majority Muslim lands.

I hope you will take the time to note the genuineness on his face as he greets these men and women who wear our uniform. No crotch salute here, as Obama did at the memorial at Ft. Hood while everyone else was saluting the colors. I’m personally disgusted with the man who calls himself the Commander in Chief today.
Take note of the fact that...

The Glenn Beck march on Washington has brought out a sort of “he’s our guy and you keep your hands off of him” attitude by some who present themselves as the official leaders of all black people everywhere.

Dr. Martin Luther King
Perhaps the article below, and indirectly the one it discusses will change some of that.
Article begins:
On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. stood at the Lincoln Memorial and admonished America to return to its First Principles. In his I Have a Dream Speech,...
